Who can join?
- Individuals introduced by existing members.
- Self-employed persons willing to comply with membership policy.
- Employed persons joining in an individual capacity under the same policy.
- Employees of corporate institutions, admitted per membership policy.
Member obligations
- Comply with society by-laws and decisions of SACCO organs.
- Purchase and pay up shares and other levies as provided in the by-laws.
- Meet society obligations at liquidation where assets are insufficient.
- Support approved SACCO projects and initiatives.
Shares & loan eligibility
Each share is Ksh 20. Members hold at least 500 shares; no member may hold more than one-fifth of total share capital.
Loan eligibility: minimum six (6) months of contributions. Maximum loan is typically three (3) times your total deposits, within SACCO limits.
